Sea Captain's Chest #39 3 1/2
x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 Originally designed as a custom chest for a movie set, this has become one of my personal favorites. It features a properly scaled wallpaper interior and an actually locking clasp with brass joint pins at every corner. Rugged and with a well used look, it's a great conversation piece.

Shaker Dry Sink #84 circa 1840 3

This piece replicates the true yellowish color and water staining at the bottom of the piece as it currently exists in the museum. A perfect eclectic accent in any interior, it will add character and conversation wherever it is used. The cabinet contains one shelf. The porcelain bowl and pitcher is available with the bench for an additional $6.00.

Shaker Small Wash Bench with Drawers #32 circa 1850 2 3/8
x 3 1/8 x 1 1/2 One of three different Shaker wash stands in the line. These pieces appeared fairly frequently in all the Shaker communities and are just exquisite examples of the Shaker blend of design and function. A wonderfully eclectic addition to any room decor. All drawers are box jointed and exquisitely detailed. It is finished in our warm pine patina with subtle indications of the 150 years it's been used. The original bench was built by well known Shaker craftsman James V. Calver in 1860. A number of these units still exist in private collection which indicates that they may have been produced in some substantial volume and either sold outside or distributed within the village system

During the 1700's and well into the 1800's most classic furniture was imported into the US from Europe. These pieces reflect that European influence in elegant and perfect detail, right down to the squashed ball feet. Available in natural or colored washes reflecting pieces that had been painted (most were at one time or another) and subsequently stripped. You may specify the old stripped color. Credenza
